Description
In the name of order, we have established not only institutions like churches and courts of law but also the price to be payed by men for women and the vow to bound their unification. The purpose was good and that purpose was none other than, regulating a union between a man and a woman. Meanwhile, I realized that regardless of this “price” for bride having its origin and formula, humanity refuses to follow it properly up to date. Sadly, many, especially women have become victims of this misguided agenda.
On the other hand, I believe once more that our failure as a people to consult our history also caused the “Vow” for marriage to be programed in our minds by its founders and offsprings as apocalypse instead of being a human idea which it really is. If these views are closer to being facts, just image combining them.
My presentation may not be accurate in a way, but what I attempted to establish therefore is to answer these burning questions: Why do some men that have paid the bride price often end up abusing their women? If we all knew the fact that, the marriage vow is a human idea, will we be afraid of pledging against it? Why do 80% of men classify women as wives, girlfriends and side chicks when in actual fact, all of them poses the same qualities? Why is the court of law failing to find solutions to the rampant divorce rates? Why don’t the Church see Marriage, according to Jesus’ lens towards the Samaritan woman and not to promote the doctrine of condemning society via the values of fornication and idolatry? Above all, are you still a spectator or an actor and actress on this important subject? Controversial, right? But permit this uncomfortable opinion sink for a moment.
